PT Geoforce Indonesia Participates in the Practitioner Lecture Program at Universitas Negeri Jakarta
PT Geoforce Indonesia once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the development of human resources in the fields of civil engineering and geotechnics through its participation in the Practitioner Lecture Program in collaboration with Jakarta State University (UNJ).
The two-week program served as a platform for collaboration between academia and industry, providing students with the opportunity to gain firsthand insights into the practical application of geosynthetics from experienced industry professionals.
During the first session, students were introduced to Introduction to Geosynthetics, which covered the fundamentals of geosynthetics, their functions, and their role in supporting modern infrastructure development. The session provided a comprehensive overview of the various types of geosynthetics and their applications in construction and geotechnical engineering projects.
In the second session, students explored the topic of RSS and MSEW Construction, focusing on the implementation of Reinforced Soil Structures (RSS) and Mechanically Stabilized Earth Walls (MSEW) in real-world projects. In addition to discussing technical and design aspects, the session also highlighted implementation challenges and the practical solutions applied during project execution.
Through this program, students gained not only theoretical knowledge but also valuable practical perspectives on the application of geosynthetic technologies in the professional world. The participation of practitioners from PT Geoforce Indonesia helped bridge the gap between academic learning and the evolving needs of the industry.
